St John Neumann Philadelphia CMA Guild Mid-September updates
Student CMA Welcome Mass & Picnic a success!
Health professional students from the areas medical nursing schools, along with their friends in residency and fellowship training gathered at the Penn/Drexel Neumann Center (adjacent to Sts. Agatha & James Church) for Mass, followed by a BBQ picnic. CMA member Deacon John Travaline and Fr. Joesph Ryan OSA, Chaplain of our St. John Neumann CMA Guild, joined Fr. Carlos Keen of the Newman Center in celebrating Holy Mass. Afterwards, about 40 students, residents, and a handful of attending CMA members shared a tasty barbecue menu in a garden setting outside of the Newman Center. Enjoy this photo from the picnic. More student events to come!
The students extend their thanks to our St. John Neumann Guild for sponsoring the picnic and underwriting its costs.
